Caught me!
OK, Camille. You caught me. :-)
1. One book that changed your life: VanVonderen’s Tired of Trying to Measure Up
2. One book that you’ve read more than once: The Lord of the Rings trilogy (so I was a speech major, not a math major!)
3. One book you’d want on a desert island: The book of Psalms
4. One book that made you laugh: The Paper Bag Princess
5. One book that made you cry: The Atonement Child
6. One book that you wish had been written: Hmmmm... (I may update this later.)
7. One book you wish had never been written: Anything by Robert Rector (grrr...)
8. One book you’re currently reading: Selling Women Short
9. One book you’ve been meaning to read: The Broken Mirror
10. Now tag five people:
Becca
Mel
Ben
Joanna
Laura

Junk. Now I have to post something with some thought behind it!
It's going to be hard for us to tag new people. Our circle is hardly big enough!
Good choices, by the way.
hear hear becca!!
hear hear becca!!
I don't have a blog, but I will take a shot. I could answer "Lord of the Rings" to everything except books that I wish had not been written, but I give something else as my answers.
Book that changed my life: The Screwtape Letters
Book I've read more than once: Ecclesiastes
Book I'd want on a desert island: Complete Riverside Shakespeare
Book that made me laugh: This one is hard since I don't read often for laughs. I will say the BJU dorm handbooks because it was so dumb.
Book that made me cry: Cry, the Beloved Country
Book I wish had been written: The final volume in William Manchester's masterful biography of Winston Churchill
Book I wish never had been written: Das Kapital
Book I'm currently reading: To the Last Man (WWI novel by Jeff Shaara)
Book I've been meaning to read: George Marsden's history of fundamentalism

Also, I did a quick online look on "Robert Rector" and must respectfully dissent from your views on his work. I will leave it at that rather than continuing our longstanding arguement.
