Haircut and The Michelangelo Bird

I did it!! I chopped it all off, and I love it.

Woo-hoo for short hair!

Take a look at DeWitt's new cage and perch. Many, many thanks to Kyle for the new perch. DeWitt thinks it's the best thing since Romaine lettuce (which he can't seem to get enough of--it turns his beak green *giggle*).

Hey! That's MY haircut. You make me want to go back to the Julie Andrews look myself. It was soooo easy and really quite fun. Mine's almost long enough to pull back again!

My bird liked Cheerios. You should try it.

I know. :-) I stole it. It was actually supposed to be longer, but I love it the way it is. It cut a full 15 minutes off of my morning routine. I can now hit the shower at 8:11, be out the door (with my lunch) at 8:37, and make it to work by 9:00. Not bad.

I didn't know you had a bird. What was it? I'll have to try to Cheerios, but I think you're only supposed to give them the unflavored ones, so I need to find a small box in case he doesn't like them. Because I am definitely not eating plain Cheerios just so DeWitt can try them.

I had a cockatiel. Dumb as a rock, but twice as cute. She ate Cheerios like candy. But then, so did I, and she was usually interested in whatever I was eating.

BTW, the haircut looks great on you!

So you're one of those lucky people who looks great with either long hair or short hair... :)

Duuuude. Cool haircut!

A cockatiel was twice as cute as a rock? Are we talking a particularly cute rock?

Nah, just a medium-cute rock. A little red in the middle.
